Broccoli With Mushrooms

Broccoli, garlic, onions, and mushrooms stir-fried and seasoned with lemon juice, pepper and dill. Serve hot.
Ingredients -
1 medium head Broccoli, chopped
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
1/2 medium Onion, finely chopped
8 ounces White Mushrooms, finely sliced
1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
dash Ground Pepper
dash Dill
 
Preparation:

1. Heat oil in wok over medium heat.

2. Add garlic, broccoli, mushrooms, and onion to wok. Stir-fry 5-7 minutes until vegetables are crisp tender.

3. Add fresh lemon juice, pepper and dill. Stir-fry additional minute.

4. Serve immediately.

 



Cooking Tip
White Mushrooms
You could substitute a hearty mushroom variety or any of a number of asian mushrooms, such as shiitake.

Stir-frying Tips
Fried Rice
24 hour old rice gives the best results. The rice grains will not stick together during the stir frying process. You can add a small amount of oil to the rice prior to cooking, and use hands to break up rice.
